CAMBRILS, COSTA DORADA
The Costa Dorada has a long tradition as a preferred family holiday destination. It offers a typically Mediterranean climate with mild temperatures in the winter and warm, dry summers.
Cambrils lies at the heart of the Costa Dorada. Its a quiet and welcoming fishing village, where you will find not only lovely beaches but also a wide range of cultural and gastronomic offerings.
It is located near other tourist centres, such as Salou, La Pineda, Reus, Tarragona, etc.
The campsite is located within fifteen minutes walking distance from the centre of Cambrils, walking along the lovely seaside promenade.
Youll have lots of fun with the entire family at Port Aventura theme park, located at 10 minutes by car from the campsite.
The park is divided into 5 theme areas: Mediterranea, Polynesia, China, Mexico, Far West. In each theme area you may enjoy some spectacular rides and watch one of several amazing shows!
There is something for everybody: younger children will enjoy Sesamo Aventura, whereas the most daring visitors wont want to miss Shambala, Europes highest roller-coaster!
Reus is a great place for shopping. In addition, if you are interested in culture and especially in architecture, you will see some amazing modernist buildings there and discover their connection to the well-known architect of Barcelonas famous Sagrada Familia, Antoni Gaudí.
Known as Tarraco since Roman times, Tarragona has been part of UNESCOs Heritage of Humanity since 2000; it features amazing remains of our Roman heritage: the city walls, the amphitheatre, circus, provincial forum, the national archaeological museum, etc.
Furthermore, in Tarragona you will also see some impressive mediaeval monuments, modernist buildings, the charming harbour district El Serrallo, and much more!
TERRES DE L'EBRE
If you like unspoiled natural settings you will love the Ebro Delta Natural Park with its amazing variety of characteristic plants and animals! Here is where the river flows into the sea. It is located at one hours ride from the campsite.
On the Ports mountain range you will find the Ports Nature Park, which is home to a wide range of plants and animals, among which some rare protected species.
